Okay, so Caroline picked a new hobby to study - jewelry designing. She and Ruhi enroll at the New Orleans college/university for this course. Caroline is already there and in a relationship with Klaus.

Now, Caroline becomes good friends with Ruhi and becomes protective of Ruhi and baby Ruhaan. Meanwhile, Elijah and Klaus would have taken the position of professors in that uni, Klaus is there for Caroline and Elijah is there because he's bored

Elijah feels an instant connection towards Ruhi and so does she for him. They end up together while he hides his original vampire status from her.

He also hides the fact that he and his family went behind her back and tortured and killed the powder familyAnd Manish Goenka too

Ruhi finds out later on and freaks out but then Caroline makes her understand and then Ruhi gets back with Elijah
