Ghum 1 actors didn't get nomination too. SPA didn't happen during their time, so I don't remember them winning any in SPA. But they didn't get nomination in ITA too. Only after their generation end, they got non popular awards whose awards name was not even well known. Though gen 1 actors are not any good actors but that show did well trp wise.

Normally for the actors who got break through a show, these awards shouldn't matter much. Because getting lead or pl role in prime slot starplus show itself is advantage to their career.

Looks like samridhi was confident that she or anyone from gen 4 would get award because her show has trp.

She should ask her producer Rajan shahi what is parameter of awards. He might answer.

Harshad and Pranali were fitting in the timeline criteria. So they were nominated. Although it is not wrong, they could have taken some other actor.

But voting based tha...and yeh names were in popularity category. They want people to vote and create a buzz naa.

TRP matters for the channel. This is just generic television awards. Ab last year Harshad Arora aka Satya was also nominated.

Infact, more than Harshad, Pranali should have been a talking about. Uske nominations dekhke hi pata chala, ki yehi jeetega. But best actress category (popular) had Pranali, Rupali, Sumbul and even Samriddhi.

Btw Samriddhi was not nominated in Jury whereas RoPu was nominated.

There are many other ppl who has better acting skills and are more popular than gen 4 actors. This is a fact everyone will know.

Awards bhi aise phukat main mahi karthe they also need viewers. If they just get 1k vote for all actors then how will the recover money spent on all the event and all. If they give awards and have performances of popular actors then only ppl will tune in to see what's up. As even ITA has to pay those actors who are performing on stage. If they don't get enough returns on investment they will go bank rupt. So nominating hc and pr was profitable move as hc fanbase is huge and pr also has her own fanbase which includes some of hc fans + gen 3 fans

I am not sure when shakti was removed from ghum. But he should have been nominated too. But seems like he was not.

ITA ka value toh hai. It is bigger than SPA or any other channel based awards.

Instigate Nahi kar Rahi hai woh. Matlab mujhe toh Aisa Nahi laga.
