Not that I’m trying to compare, but Wahaj was exceptionally good in that scene. Both are best in their own ways.

I don’t think he needs to feel guilty because he only endorsed Ammar because Sadaf said she loved him. She should have done her own due diligence. I hope Bilal is pissed off at Ammar though and fires him.

In a way, Sadaf was kind of looking for a way out when she was talking to Bilal right before the wedding and she did thank him. If I really think about it, what do we expect? Sadaf to not make a full effort with a guy she chose to marry? She has to now and her bowing down in this marriage is unfortunately something that happens to some women - they lose themselves if the partner is toxic. I’m not hating on her character for it but I just think we as an audience don’t need to see so much romance between them. There could be other ways to show her making an effort.

What I need more than anything is for her to genuinely fall for him and be the one who makes an effort. He deserves someone who actually loves him and it’s kind of true what Bilal Abdullah says that if she did say yes, maybe he would always be wondering if she did it because she’s indebted to him. He didn’t want that. I think what’s important now is to show how Sadaf falls for Bilal. It can’t be because Ammar leaves her…she has to leave Ammar and there’s has to be a journey more than Bilal just waiting around for her.

I had analyzed that scene in depth. In summary, Sadaf realized that her decision to marry Amaar was wrong. Instead of saying this directly, she used her father. She knew that Bilal values his father a lot, so she hoped that he would be convinced to stop the marriage. But the opposite happened. During the marriage ceremony, he didn’t immediately accept, but after a brief pause, he eventually said yes.

JBG didn't get eyeballs and too bad SMD didn't give anything to neutral audiences to connect with Mahaj, but it is what it is. They have had their chance. Now just let it go. Neither should waste more projects on trying to prove something general audiences have not grown to give 2 hoots about. From a neutral perspective, Maya has had much superior pairings with Obi, Sherry, Bilal (even Hamza). Mahaj don't even come close.

I would like to see Wahaj work with actors he has not worked before like Sajal, Sara, Iqra, Kubra. I used to like Ushna before but her acting has really dipped in her recent projects so I don't know anymore. In fact, I would like to see Wahaj try other genres with more seasoned actresses. Like a thriller where Wahaj plays a serial killer being chased by a cop played by Saba Qamar. Or a Marriage Story type of drama with Sanam Saeed. Or a Kashif Nisar drama with someone like Sohai. TB2 is happening so other than that Wahaj should really give romantic hero roles a rest (it could be a subplot but not the main focus).

Well I would say Wahaj and Maya had potential..its just the format of the story due to which they didn't have much scenes yet...and whatever scenes we have seen they were not romantic..so can't say whether maya wahaj dont have chemistry or the chemistry wasnt utlized due to the format of the show..

But I dont want to see them together anymore...its done and dusted and they should move on...!!

Maya had the best chemistry with Shehryar IMO and mahaj doesn't even come close..I agree with that.
