Even though mehru looked really pretty in this scene I found it funny. Why would someone like mehru who is matured and a no nonsense type of girl jump around and twirl like that in the open simply because the place is pretty

Absolutely no regards to her brother, niece Or even son's emotions. In initial episodes, when she said there is no space for emotions in politics, she actually meant it. Ghar pe bhi politics khel rahi hain

That is what makes Saman Shah so interesting to me. She is unequivocally herself without the typical rhona dona or jealous streak or insecure MIL trope that we normally see. This is a woman who has bigger fish to fry and she does not need to justify her actions to anyone. At the same time, she isn't cold. She does have some affection for her family but always, nothing/nobody matters to her as much as political career because that is really her first love. This is a woman who thrives on chess moves and she loves doing it every day.

Exactly, as of now she is relaxed as everything is going as per plan. But sometimes I wonder, what will she do, if she gets to know about shahnawaz's real feelings for mehru. Will she take her son's happiness as priority & block amal Or will she plan to throw mehru out.
Guess actual story will start only after zain returns from jail.

She'll be ok with Shah's feelings as long as it aligns with her political ambitions and ideology...and she is able to cash in on Mehru.... the day it goes against any of this, she'll turn against them
