It came because they have to protect both bacha chors. The scene in hospital where bacha chor 1 handed his baby to Armaan was shot as sacrifice of brother and was promoted as such too, which backfired and none cared about brothers

They shifted narrative from both brothers hurting both women to both women fighting during revelation, since revelation was kept light with none saying anything to Armaan, they had to tone down hate for Abhira too
