Hmmm… I am trying to stay within the Runak orbit. For me Arshi Ak others actually don’t matter.

I was giving an interpretation of that scene of what that formality - non formality could mean.

In the context of how female leads are expected to behave with other men with whom they are not romantically involved, I really don’t know how this stacks up cos I don’t watch itv much. In this story, they showed Ani not trusting Ak at the start and then they showed bromance and now they are showing something else…

In this they also showed Ak proposing, J rejecting, AK accepting of the rejection but still helpful and hopeful esp in the tumour track. Him supporting Runak during HA Now AK again hopeful… he is like that the reserve player on the bench

You never get my point on this

Ani is not denying that living or breaking off with Arshi is an independent decision of his....how many times he's stated clearly ko woh decision woh waise hi lena chahta hai khud ke liye...it is Jhanak who has gotten hyper each time he's made that statement, so her hypocrisy stands out more to me after all the moral judgement she tries to pass on this topic.

Nobody is denying Ani's mistakes either.....but this unilateral cancellation stance people have towards him regarding the Arshi baggage is what I disagree with because it cannot be viewed independently of Jhanak's hypocrisies IMO....Ani atleast shares his dilemmas candidly...but Jhanak obfuscates and doesn't respond in good faith.

It's also laughable that Jhanak preaches about samaaj ke neeyam to Ani....kaunse samaaj ka neeyam hai to proclaim love for so called married man?

Rest is Leena's cheap writing to show Ani flip flopping in confusion even after he has cleared his stance many times regarding Arshi....na koi comfort level hai na koi affection....it is the general sympathy and pity one feels for a fellow human being and uske basis pe Ani is being unilaterally cancelled even by hypocrites like Jhanak jisko khud ka doglapan nahin dikhta

The problem with this serial summed up…

I know why some of it happens which is why this medium is female lead heavy… Female lead is the flag bearer of tradition but what that tradition is no one knows or cares but just that she is at the centre of every action cos female audience is feeling some vicarious pleasure seeing the female lead characters do things they know they will never do in their lives

Females have an agency in matters that has no meaning and there is flagellation of the male character but with no intention to actually shine a light on patriarchy.

AK angle will always be there in jhanak land. They had to close that Rahul one coz j literally had nothing to do there. But with AK being a khali dhagga rich celebrity.....she'll always had an option to go Mumbai and take his "help" which he'll provide her coz he'll always be in love with her. JHANAK KNOWS IT .....STILL SHE'LL BE COMFORTABLE IN TAKING HIS HELP . Bas yeh baat samajh nahi aati. She's soooo uncomfortable taking Ani's help but she's totally fine in taking AK's help .....knowing he's her one sided lover . Dogli jhanno.

She is totally comfortable becos her heart isn’t engaged in it any sense but I sense she is going to get a rude shock possibly… what this help from a quarter ( corner)?whose heart is engaged means? It’s usually messy!! Unrequited love is a halo only the martyr in love gets to wear…
