Poddars won't connect the dots. They are dumb lots. Even if they do Rohit is again WAARIS of this generation so he'll be forgiven. For Ruhi, Rohit is the gate for her entry to the Poddar house so again forgiven.

Gone are the days when characters had depth, and every scene carried weight. Even seemingly trivial moments—like telling your MIL you’re going to buy vegetables—would tie back into the storyline somehow. Now, it’s all about squeezing out TRPs with over-the-top drama, even when it’s completely unnecessary. Romance in shows today doesn’t hit the same way it used to. Look at AbhiMaan—they didn’t even get their own song!

But it’s not just the makers; the audience shares some of the blame too. People these days have zero attention span. If a scene drags even a little, there’s a good chance viewers will tune out.
