If you think Ani was wrong to propose to Jhanak, then why are you saying this story is about his journey of developing unconditional trust?.....how will that supposed trust develop simply by them staying away from each other?

My logical brain says the story progression should lead to Ani developing unconditional trust with Jhanak being an able partner in that character building both sides. As you said, Leena won't give us that. So let them stay away from each other and at least give us peace

Bold - I can’t describe this better than in my earlier post that in relationships owning up is shown differently by people. Ani also used that haq over her in the past but obviously their dynamics is a bit iffy now so he moves gingerly with her now but for Jhanak it’s just her warped mind thinking that if I don’t formalise the relationship all is ok.. and he still is mine. Ani hasn’t exactly cottoned on to her actual dilemma about why she holds him at bay… she has only now started articulating the point that she doesn’t want to be the cause of their split. By saying she can’t break what is broken may seem like a balm to a lay person but not to one who has angst over identity issues. It is also a gridlock point in the story… When she was assuming she was pregnant, she was able to get over the dilemma immediately cos one of her bigger issue took precedence. Her survival instinct took over. But Leena tripped the viewer with this Shristi nonsense so she is back to square one and so unless there is a big trigger she won’t climb down that high ground. If it makes her a stupid character I would say so be it.. dilemmas can only be broken when faced with different dilemma. Ani will also face a dilemma soon enough for him to get a taste of why walking out is a process that involves catching the bull by the horn.. sometimes you can’t escape confrontation else someone will always walk over you. I always envisaged a stage in the story when she will be ready to accept wholeheartedly he might find himself tied down, in other words face a dilemma.

But that said… this current writing currently will only appeal to the lowest common denominator.. nothing recognised as an arc in the journey cos regression happens at will.. Characters alsi nahin likhi jaati

That is indeed how Jhanak justifies her stance to herself....she is fully comfortable in her approach of "my love doesn't need to attain Sirji in order to be validated"....she finds nothing wrong in loving a man she continuously claims is a married man who belongs to someone else....she feels she is clear of the homewrecker label as long as she doesn't formalize her rishta with Ani....lol and since she hardly faces any consequences for this stance of hers, aise hi chalta rehta hai.

At this point I'm not sure if Leena ever wants to show Ani cottoning on to Jhanak's dilemma about not being labeled the cause of his split with Arshi....cuz the way Leena keeps giving him these weird dialogues during fights with Arshi about "humare rishte ke beech mein Jhanak humesha rahegi, humare beech mein Jhanak already hai" etc. etc.....she is forcibly trying to push the narrative of Jhanak being the wedge between Anishi.....when Ani himself is not articulating to Arshi that Jhanak is not between them but ARSHI is the one between him and Jhanak, toh what else can we expect from the narrative? It's clearly a deliberate choice from Leena even if the actual plot belies this....Runak have been on their own path all along and nowhere has it seemed like JHANAK is coming in between....Anishi were always a failing relationship but Leena seems too chicken to let that be called out in the story.

Even in the Choton-Ani convo, we are being shown a Choton so hesitant in telling Ani that what he had with Arshi was never love....lol every other day someone or the other has a dialogue that it's not the first time that a long term relationship is ending...the focus is always more on giving long winded justifications for why Anishi can break up rather than simply clarifying the basic incompatibility and pointing out that Runak are always pining for each other....toh ismein why so much discussion daily on how/why a previous long term relationship can end? LOL even in the face of such OBVIOUS incompatibility?

AY. Perfectly summed up This is the perfect example of contrived writing by the lazy writers

I don’t have a problem with the MU… I have a problem in how it is set up that it insults my intelligence.

Jealousy is a petty emotion and writers like to romanticise it to appeal to the base but if you are writing a trait about a character and if you have shown the character to have evolved in the journey… don’t regress without good justification. I will challenge anyone who will say that Ani shouting off those things isn’t a regression and instead a trait… bollocks!!

Kya zaroorat hai pata karne ki? ...Plan or no plan, Ani anyways was upset about Jhanak refusing his proposal and leaving him to go to Mumbai...lol so in typical Runak fashion, yeh wala point will just be used to argue about other broader issues between them and end of the day yeh bhi moot ho jaayega somehow when one of them falls beemar for some reason

The moment Runak realises that they are the endgame and Arshi is the third angle in their game, no problem will remain in between Runak..so Leena will try to keep this 'Anishit could be, but didn't due to Runak' angle angle alive as long as possible, no matter however forced that appears..

LOL yes, AK has managed to cause MUs between Runak yet again even though he is sort of buddies with Ani now ....but iski purani aadat gayi nahin hai of putting words in Jhanak's mouth about what she is feeling/thinking....lol there was nothing in those text messages about Jhanak feeling shy to tell his to Ani but AK khud se mirch masala laga ke bol raha hai Ani ko and talking about it like Jhanak being with AK is such a natural progression

How casually everyone dismisses Ani's love ki haan bhai tum toh Arshi ke saath stuck ho toh isliye Jhanak ko jhat se mujhse pyar bhi ho gaya and ab woh SHARMAATI bhi hai
