Diggy and Avi both aren't sidekicks to me to be honest. They both have their own viewpoints and they put it forward and also don't get influenced by Viv and KV.

Of course Viv and Avi's friendship is stronger because they have been there since day 1 together and KV and Diggy are still in initial phase so there is no point comparing that.

Also, Diggy gets the maximum insult from BB, co-contestants, guests and the host since the time he has come. Be it BB taunting him every now and then, or calling his friendship with KV for game when it's organic. Or showing his irrelevant clips to housemates and the viewers to set a narrative against him, also name-calling him, making fun of him through guests.

In spite of all this, one cannot deny the fact that he takes every dig and insult sportingly with a smile on his face and also has clarity in his thoughts and his priorities. That's the reason despite all of the narrative against him, even sallu was asking his opinion and listening to him nicely. Also appreciated him for his sportsmanship of taking the reactions of housemates gracefully in sidekick task. Diggy definitely deserves to be in top 5. In short time, he definitely managed to get good screentime for himself despite his clips have been cutting from Live feed. Let's see. I hope he does.
