See Abhira did look for ways to manage the case without her appearing in court. But Charu could not manage and Abhira was forced to go. Such is their profession. But an entire family of lawyers refused to understand that. She was not even going to join the firm any time soon. It was just one case. Poddars could have understood and managed the baby for few hours. They did not, and that's not Abhira's fault. Woh koi jhansi ki rani nahi ban rahi thi. She was just trying to do her job.

So Abhira did no wrong in taking a month old baby to court where things can get hostile as the family did not want to look after the child for a few hours; hence the fault lies with the family?

Surely when the the baby is just a month old and requires his mother in these early stages aswell, you don't go back to work till a few months after (like when they are 6-8 months). I just thought going back to work that soon was something I personally agree with at all aswell.

There's nothing wrong in Abheera wanting to get back to work after delivery.

But she should have consulted with her family, if they are okay handling a baby who is not even a month old, while the mother wants to make her career.

She just decided that her family should understand her and take care of the baby. Especially Poddar's. Who were always against a woman having a career.

And when the family objected, she started blaming them that they don't want to take care of the baby and took the baby to court. Fine, that was the need of the hour. But what was the necessity of taking the baby to temple and take part in someone else's family pooja!! Which mother does that??

Abhira had a clear choice to make, with Charu present and fully capable of taking care of the baby while she fulfilled her responsibilities in court. Instead, Abhira chose to create unnecessary drama, exposing the baby to potential harm from criminals.

Abhira took Charu's case and Charu could have taken care of the baby

No responsible mother would willingly endanger her child in such a manner, and no professional lawyer would risk contempt of court by behaving so unprofessionally.

Abhira’s actions that day were wrong on every level—both as a mother and as a working professional.

if she had hired a babysitter, the whole family would’ve scolded her for hiring a stranger to help care for the baby when there are so many people in the house. But yes, she shouldn’t have taken the baby to temple and even court.
