Yes unlike all the losers littering Poddar zoo, Abhira actually does not need the Poddar name or backing. She is capable of doing her job without being part of Poddar firm. I would say it is a good thing she got fired. At that firm, she'll always be restricted one way or other. Better to leave now.

The way Chuvi or whatever that nickname is used in the show is an endearing way for Ruhi, not in abusive way like it’s used for her here. Once you all use it in loving way for her like the way show uses it, I am sure it will be allowed to be used then.
