1. Why ipl auction is being organised in Saudi Arabia ? Possibly SA has deep pockets and ridiculous money . Must have offered their venue at dirt cheap price for IPL organizers ( BCCI) ...Purely my guess .

2. Why do teams splurge so much money as 26 Cr 25 Cr ? I really fail to understand when history and statistics have consistently shown that high auction value players have rarely performed and given dividends in return except one or two matches ...

3. Finally MI ne RR ko chuna laga diya .. joh item 8 Cr mein kharida ( read Jofra ) usko 12 Cr mein bech diya RR ko 🙏.

• Haha ... I meant pt.3 in a humorous way. MI had purchased Jofra in auction when he was with RR . They purchased him for 8 Cr .
• This auction MI played some smart reverse auctioneering and emptied RR purse by 12 Cr..
• Yes players prices every auction vary like stock mkt...Though every team has its core players which are like Mutual Funds😀
