The way I interpreted the Ani Arshi scene, Arshi took advantage of Ani but Arshi made the case clearly that it was her he was making love to - even though she asked him to feel J through her. It is a big difference from her pretending to be J and deceiving him. Ani clearly has some culpability for this - given he put himself in a situation where he could be exploited thus; and there was no deception involved - it was more enticement by taking adv of his weakness for J.

This is Leena playing her game... interpreting any physical relationship in an intoxicated state is complex. If a person is manipulated and, in a moment of weakness while intoxicated, engages in a physical relationship that they would never agree to in a fully conscious state, can their consent still be considered valid? This is Arshi violating Ani without his consent.

Ani is violated that night.. it cannot be contested...and makers should stop trying to whitewash Arshi's misdeed by again portraying her the bechari wife... viewers will not accept Arshi's crime as some pyaar ke pal, even if many still consider Ani is also at fault by asking her to stay..

Exactly...there are many subplots to explore....and it's not necessary to show leads srperation and misunderstandings....The only thing I can see is just to keep Arshi in the story and to maintain the status of Ani's wife they are showing leads are plain fools.

This is an extremely important point and underscores the importance of consent in relationships. Holds true for all genders unequivocally.

The reason I do not like to write about this aspect much is under the guise of fiction, our words will sometimes not convey the extent of the seriousness of the issue. To use a situation of this kind and having the intention of masking it as a man’s imagination etc is a vile use of a cinematic trope… for cheap thrills… considering the picturisation.
I will say this again… Leena played very dirty with this incident as also the vague wording of Ani in a conversation with J…

This isn’t a matter to trifle with… It is not that men aren’t victims of women’s manipulation and there are several ways to show that too but using the garb of intoxication to carry out a s*xual act is deeply offensive. In a country where the burden of proof is so strongly on victims and usually the women outnumber men in this statistic. By using this on a man… she has tried to trivialise the enormity. Was very repulsed to even read it and I couldn’t bring myself to watch it. To me, the discussion of this in the context of the story is painful.

The most disgusting part was to try to hide the severity of the crime by showing Anirudh's pov of imagining J and engaging in the act! They should have either shown Arshi all through doing the acts or just avoided the graphics altogether..trying to sideline the severity of the crime or trying to keep the female artist or character away from harsh treatment by showing Runak intimacy is just gross and unacceptable! And that's why this particular Runak scene despite being the most intimate one till date has not received accolades or SM coverage like their other romantic scenes.

What I feel, makers wrote one scene of how Jhanak reject Ani so that they do not need to write any Runak scenes, on the basis of it they stretch 10-15 episodes of without any Runak conversation or their any scene sharing same screen..... meanwhile they have time to write all other cast scenes in detail, from having food to Arshi constant cry baby face, how Ani cheating on bechari Arshi, hall drama on AI / deepfake and rest all useless topics..... They just do not want to write anything on Runak, their inner conflicts, relationship hindrance nothing, they do not want to explore just like Jhanak said, she has other important things to do instead of focusing on love😒

I agree its best to be honest across the board. Both of them are not being fully honest at the moment. Also has not J told Ani she loves him already. Is she now needing to give him a daily account of the status of her love?

Ani is also not being fully honest is he? He asks Jhanak to come to him; but is playing it cautiously with Arshi. He has told her to go if she cannot be with Ani. We all know Arshi will never leave Ani this way. When Arshi asks Ani on what basis he is doing this for J, he said basic courtesy towards another human, another instance when Arshi asked him he said sympathy for J, .... when just over a week ago he said he loved J and considered her his wife at a point in time.

Both of them are not 100% honest.
