I know that and I commented and raised this point too. When Jan Nisar stopped being aired on Sunday and ZPKB had no competition it got 8.2 that first time showing a significant increase. All shows have competition it’s up to audience to choose who to tune into. If shows air weekday then of course competition will be there let’s not make excuses for dramas. It’s still airing on a major channel. SMD being a commercial one, 2 A listers, one of the best and popular writers and directors, signature project with high budget of 7th sky it’s clearly an underwhelming result. TB aired weekdays with competition from other channels, had way less budget than SMD and wasn’t a signature project but still managed to maintain number 1 trp every week consistently right from the start which even IM and KMKT didn’t manage 🤷🏻‍♀️ Wahaj wasn’t even an A lister then and Yumna was popular but not at the stardom that she has now. So it’s up to audience isn’t it. SMD is obviously a disappointment for Geo not being able to grab higher trps hence why they’re not raving about the trp rating.

On a serious note, JN had got higher TRP but ZPKB was really really close.

even with an open playing field on Sunday, hum shows did not always get high trps. IM had trp in the 5s on e1. IM and then zpkb left sunday slot in a decent position but getting a trp in the 8s is a pretty solid outcome irrespective.

Whether it’s 9.9 - as per Hum - or 8.5 - as per pdtrp - it’s a really great rating. QeJ also has had good reviews. Maliha Rehman rated it even higher than AIJ, Fuchsia / GL loved the beginning also. Actually all the starting shows Farar, AIJ and QeJ are off to a great start which is excellent. Such different types of genres but stories look solid. Sunday-Tuesday sorted.

Wednesday - Duniyapur. And if i may, Bismil is also super entertaining right now. And getting great ratings and reviews. The one show where show and reviews both are really fun coz it sparks so much debate 10/10 entertainment value with good performances. Love the appreciation Hareem is getting. She deserved it for 22 Qadam but glad at least here she is getting her due.

Yes, AIEJ is 90% copy of a Geo drama, but a very well executed and performed copy. I've recently watched that Geo drama, and that's why I know this. The KMKT story was also inspired by Fahad's own drama, Mere Humrahi, but KMKT's internal story was totally different from Mere Humrahi.

Aamna and Hasan not reviewing any show is a blessing to be honest. It's kind of relief. But yumna and qej are not lucky enough to get rid of them as well as some judgemental people

P.s-they had a miscommunication and will give qej review on Friday.

Thanks in some part to SH's review and the otherwise good wom, Faraar episode is at 4.4M while QeJ is at 3.7M after 4 days

Zard led JN in TRP quite a few times either on Sundays or over its average ratings for that week.
