its so funny people bashing Karan's soft nature in a personality based show. like jaha taakat dikhana tha woh banda jeetkar aaya hai, yaha woh khud ki reality dikha raha hai contradictory thoughts we all have in our mind woh bas dikha de raha instead of choosing one just to show ki mai kitna clear minded hu

Rajat: focused on his game and used his brain and stayed at the top to save packets in his basket

Chahat played willingly even though no one was supporting. Only Vivian and KV gave few packets to her.

Digvijay clearly played for Rajat and no one else using all the force

Kashish played for Rajat and kept that stance till last minute

Sara mingled with Chugli gang but played for Rajat.

I also liked Kashish and Chahat 's discussion after the task about Chum and Karanveer/Shilpa friendship. These folks didn't play with herd mentality like other housemates.

Disclaimer: strictly my view based on the episode with 100% clear vision glasses

Yes I like his confusing thoughts , vulnerability due to low self esteem, and caring personality. It's easy to have idgaf attitude on the show but being vulnerable is natural regardless of gender. I have seen strongest men shedding tears of joy, frustration, sadness and being helpless.

i think the word gaslight gets thrown around too loosely on this forum. he considers chum a close friend and he has given her enough importance for her to be able to say these things to him. a friend explaining something to you or sharing their perspective with you on how they perceived your actions in a certain situation isn't necessarily gaslighting imo. if kv doesn't want to hear something, he can just tell her you are no one to tell me these things. usne khud yeh space dia hai chum ko k wo sab baatein un ko bol sakti hai because kv usko itni importance deta hai. to me, kv is wrong in this situation. if he had been honest and said i'm not supporting shilpa and that's the end of it, and then she tried to guilt trip and pressurize him, then i'd say it's wrong. but it was kv yesterday who changed his mind and did his jaap about friendship and how he can't do that to shilpa and blah blah. yeh sab is ne chum k samne bola tha and shilpa tak se apologize kia tha for having these thoughts because he considered them so wrong. yeh sab sochne tak ki maafi mangli thi shilpa se when she wasn't even involved in his thought process. so if chum is bringing up the friendship point (sure, they are not his true friends but putting that point aside), yeh point bhi kv ne khud hi chum ko dia because he was the one who was saying i have to support my friend, i can't be a hypocrite, blah blah. phir agley din iska memory loss hua and is ne kuch kia hi nahi task mein because it was all too childish for him. tab hi bata deta k i'm not playing for anyone. tab koi support nahi dia and then he had the audacity to take shilpa's name when bb asked who he wanted as time god. plus he can't even stick to a specific reason. kabhi he says shilpa didn't support him is liye nahi play karna, kabhi vivian ki taraf bias ki waja se nahi support karna, kabhi vivian ko compliment kar k irritate kia to nahi support karna, kabhi avinash k liye nafrat hai to is liye nahi support karna, kabhi task bohat childish hai to nahi support karna. he doesn't have the guts to stand with any statement. isko confused and stupid rehna hai bas.

just to clarify, i don't think he needed to support shilpa at all and i already clarified the point about chum's hypocrisy so won't repeat those from my last posts

Ya gaslighting is thrown around a lot, but in fact it was a bit of it in this case for me, coz ultimately what Karan felt and thought and did ( via his inaction) due to what followed in the morning and prior to task was invalidated by Chum . Agreed he felt a bit confused about his decision and in absolute doldrums . But Why is everyone only expecting Karan to do stuff , yeah he talks about friendship but he isnt the only party in that relationship. She put the entire onus on him just coz he committed to supporting shilpa and didnt . Did she ask why did you feel that way and whats running on your mind. Its almost like she attacked him. Also this entire convo was almost a prelude to ‘ i am going to flip coz you are not trustworthy anymore’ imo. Karan should just snap out of whatever confusion he is in right now. Its frustrating to watch it.

The gaslighting happened to Karan with Shrutika firing from Chum's shoulder. Chum and Shrutika are joining evil gang based on wkv feedback and justified their actions using Shilpa's name.

Also Chum diverted her violence topic to KV conversation very slyly. KV was explaining to her that Mara mari is not allowed and confirming her violence and she turned the situation around about KV not helping Shilpa. KV needs to stop seeking validation and I do believe Shilpa Shinde will be better friend than Chum in world outside bb. Shilpa shinde(my favorite) can't be likeable for her personality to many but she is loyal and stay true to her friends.

Chumdail is in same category as Ewwsha and Mlice. Shrutika is a liar but says openly to Karan that she is playing game unlike chumdial"s convenience dosti. It's BS that Karan is using chum. It's Chum using Karan
