She was being more vicious because she was being egged on and pumped up by the evil mean girl twins from the sidelines. This is why aur himmat agaye to pounce on CP.

CP is no dudh ki dhuli,and sometimes does ask for it with the poking and then backtracking with the innocent lamb -mujhe kuch samajh nahi aata Nirjata acts ,but in this scenario,Chum did come across as a vicious bully and it looked pretty bad.
