Not to be a Vidya defender, but Rohit probably learnt a lot of his "running away from fatherly responsibilities" tendencies from Madhav sa, and made it 50 times worse.

What else can be expected from him? He is the same bhagoda who ran away for one year leaving his entire family behind when he found out about Armaan and Ruhi. Rohit is a spineless coward nothing more then that. He never fought for himself or for the sake of his family what will he fight for his child? He is used to running away from responsibilities or pinning them on someone else. He could have raised his child himself, Armaan-Abhira could have loved that child knowing it's Ruhi's and he had such a big family to help him.
