If ani is binding arshi to him just to use her to keep track of shristi for Jhanak’s sake…I’m sorry but that’s a high level of degradation for a male lead. The confidence to use other people in this show is so high, does anyone even have integrity, lead or not. I know I’m unpopular for this opinion but I have always looked at Arshi and felt her life would be much better if she stayed away from everyone else in this show except her dad. She is pretty, educated, and has talent. If she just understood that the world is so big and there is no need to fixate on Jhanak, or there are so many people out there that can love her except Ani, or that her mom is not good for her, her life would be the best here. Do you know how antsy it is to see her so close to this realization and makers insert her mom or ani to tie her to he and the boses for some reason. Makers can’t have them have a honest conversation about themselves and make Ani make a level headed decision to stay because any sort of mature conversations will make him look worse when he finds that nutan is Jhanak and that he wants to be with her even after saying this…like we are set up for that. I’m already set up for that double standard and for makers to have Arshi do something dumb so it can be easy for you know whos to give reasons why she is the bad choice. The gaslighting in this show is hardcore, because I usually would never support the designated ‘villains’ but everytime I look at Arshi, makers have done so hard in making her look like someone who only started making all the bad and regrettable decisions due to her jealousy and shock. That also means I look at this show and see how Ani failed in giving enough security to his partner and even worse at damage control when her concerns came true. I used to like he and Jhanak tbh, but over time, I couldn’t understand why makers couldn’t even set up the minimal resistance to each other or some coping that would cross over the moral ambiguity. They failed at that and left me with arshi who I felt more compelled to root for because no one else was rooting for her. It may also have something to do with the fact that I started reading some Novels where the villainess was actually the good one and all that haha. There is no need for me to think that wishing well for Jhanak or ani is exclusive with wishing well for arshi. Like really she has the biggest potential away from the whole mess of everyone else. So sorry if it’s just more sad when I see people going that this should be a ruse just to watch shristi. It’s sad because it’s not impossible and when you don’t hate your designated villain that much or even at all to the point you start to empathize, you start to think that isn’t it too much? Like boy bye!

Contrary to what you have stated, I would say that would be Ani-like if he uses Arshi to track Srishti...Ani has been a manipulative person when J is involved...he, just because J is no more, is going back to Arshi for saath is not justifiable according to his character arc, atleast based on what we have seen till 234 episodes...

The major flaw Leena decided to give Arshi is dumbness...she never uses her brains..Earlier she used to be manipulated by Srishti and Ani..Now she is no more under influence of Ani, infact it is now going to be the other way round...but her major life decisions are controlled by Srishti...I always say, Arshi had the easiest escape in this fiasco if we compare the three leads' situations...she still has the easiest choice to make regarding leaving this situationship...I really liked it when in yesterday's episode she expressed her wish to explore relationship with a new potential partner or focussing on her career...but soon she was dismissed by her mother and fed with vile ideas...if she could use her brains, her life would have been much better...she still has a chance for a better life if she does not fall prey to Srishti (I am excluding Ani because it's clear from her dialogues now that she cares a damn about Ani and his wishes)..but as the story is unfolding, I guess she will again choose the wrong path and this time, will receive the harshest insults from Anirudh..Not only that, she will damage her career and reputation also..

I would say you are still giving a lot of regard to a character like Arshi who literally called her mom's advice SAMAJHDAAR yesterday during her monologue in Ani's room about how she will blindly follow her mom's instructions cuz she is so SAMAJHDAAR

I'm just saying this generally so please don't take it personally but I find it hilarious to see so much dissection on Arshi's character cuz it's so easy to put all blame on Ani as if Arshi was a little doodh peeti bacchi who didn't see everything unfolding in front of her eyes.

She herself announces everything she has seen happening between Runak, she's the first one to declare that she can see Ani loves Jhanak but she still keeps hanging on to Ani by claiming he's the one who runs back to her when J leaves him? LOL so who is telling you to take him back? Is he chaining you to himself? This forced victim act as if she has no brains or agency just cuz Ani flip flops.....lol it's quite hilariously pathetic.

We are supposed to forget that Ani told her to get out a 100 times but sure, she was just waiting for the day when Ani will return to her to prove her claims right that Ani will always come back to her ....let's all forget how much Ani is mentally pressurized and coerced constantly by everyone around him.....no one else faces that in this story to the extent Ani does. Not a single ounce of support from anyone.

...Coming to Arshi...I didn't call her a victim...In fact, post Runak marriage reveal, for whatever happened to her is, to some extent, being caused by her dumbness only...I pointed out that she is dumb...No intelligent girl will bind herself in such a disrespectful situation for long...but she did and still doing...and that's why, I do not feel any pity for her atp..

I'm talking about CHARACTERS in the story supporting Ani....no one supports him in the story and is constantly putting mental and emotional pressure on him to forget Jhanak and stay with Arshi.....THAT'S what I'm talking about.

For that he is responsible to some extent..when time was ripe, he waited for J's approval and when she did not give it, he moved on with Arshi...Arshi being in his life for longer and he never publically accepting J as his choice made his family, including the good ones, give more weightage on Anishit relationship...We need to remember that Runak were never in a relationship...nor did they lead conjugal life...moreover, they denied their marriage all the time and highlighted Anishit relationship...so when time came, Anirudh's flipping became indigestible to most and appeared as a whim..

If someone watches today's episode when it is on air, please update here...I don't have the guts to watch it...😛😛

You are again bringing up past incidents...I'm talking about everything that has happened since tumor/heart attack track.

Even AFTER seeing that Ani is openly asking declaring his love for Jhanak with total clarity, STILL everyone is pressurizing him to forget her and stay with Arshi.....that kind of mental/emotional pressure is something only Ani has to face in this story....he is utterly alone on all fronts and Jhanak has never supported him even when he has shown the courage to fight for them.

Jhanak the so called bechari flies off every chance she gets and gets an army of supporters to advocate for her.....meanwhile Ani has no one even when surrounded by so called family. All the so called good characters who have witnessed Runak's love for each other first hand are also so quick to tell Ani to go back to Arshi after Jhanak's death....all the good Bose gang and AK included....this is the kind of relentless pressure Ani faces and no, I don't agree that this is based on things he said in the past....he showed a clear distinction in the intensity of his feelings for Jhanak but people are willfully dismissing it to bully and pressurize him.

Moreover, it is implied from the very beginning in the story that he will not have J in his life...he can see her from far...and let me predict, there won't be any permanent Runak union..Anirudh is a tragic character and will die at the end of the story...there are too many foreshadowing about his doom and demise at various points in the story..

Obviously I don't want to see him giving in to the pressure either and I've expressed my disappointment on that front since yesterday.

That still doesn't change the fact that the way Ani is mentally/emotionally pressurized constantly in this story is not done with anyone else and it's terrible that only he has to face this. He is never given any support even when he tries to stand up for his truth....meanwhile he's the one who goes around fighting for others whenever they are in a bad space mentally/emotionally.

What an irony that he did so much to bring Arshi out of her trauma and now she will USE his trauma to violate him in some form most likely.....yet still, Ani will remain the villain in the eyes of many since Leena has given him wishy washy dialogues again
