But the problem mentioned was he didn't want her to help her father - which is what made her say no. So say even if she gets a job and he buys a new house, he would expect her to contribute to the loan rather than help Jayesh. Can argue she could've helped Jayesh covertly... but then is it fair / good?

Why covertly?

It is her money and she is helping her father. She can inform her husband and go ahead with it. She doesn't need his permission to send her own money to her own father.

Well.. he mentioned he didn't want her to help. The reason she walked out of the proposal. If he cant stand her helping her father out, is he good enough?

When the guy got job in America,he told her to shift there but then her father faced a huge loss in business, so that time how could she leave her family in that critical condition?She thought to do two jobs to help her family, but that guy objected as according to him,he gave ring and jewelry to her(as if bought her) so after marriage his family will be her only family,she will have to forget her own family, he gave her condition either he or her family.So she chose her family over him and broke the alliance.So for me that guy was hypocrite and as Vandana will bring him to separate AmVira and also in article it's said, he will play negative lead,so obviously he was not saint in past (before Virat's entry)and not will be saint when he will come.But I like that the new guy will be Amruta's fiance,not someone whom Priyanka will bring or Rajeev will bring.

Ha... I think a separation is much needed for Virat, too, so he can realize what true love really is and experience the pain of losing someone he genuinely loves. The guy asked Amu to shift to US with him and prioritize his family while Amu wanted to stay back in Mumbai as her family became bankrupt.

Moving to US with better job prospects is any day better than staying back and working 2 shifts in Mumbai. Financially speaking, Amu could have helped her family in a much better way is she had moved to US. The guy never asked Amu not to help her father. He said marry me, come with me to US, prioritize my family.

Amu could have taken the offer, and with time things would have definitely improved as the guy realizes the goodness in her. Win- win situation.

Was the guy insensitive and bad communicator ? Yes

Is Amu more emotionally driven than rationally? Yes
