You know I just realised that ITV and content in general has gone so bad that right now I really do not mind the current tracks in Rishta. I have given up expecting character consistency, storyline or even decent styling, as long as I have good looking leads who can actually act and have decent side characters. Also with Rishta till date they have some semblance of balance so normally I have seen good win over evil over some time, so that also gives some hope.

I just read through the posts and agree with almost everyone who pointed at the hypocrisy and hilarity of the current set of episodes and ho0 its pointless & disappointing trying to expect any kind of heartwarming stories and characters tha we can actually root for.

So they may very well get him back and either continue with his track as is, or create his backstory as Abhir if they want to create a connect with Abhira

They have, just not in the way it's clearly visible. Each character has gotten comeuppance in some way or the other, just not how we expect it to play out. Maybe that is why it never really is that satisfying as they wait too long to close the loops
