I have heard other reviewers mention this too and I too think the script intended for BA to be this drunkard and womanizer who thought Sadaf was a hot girl when he saw her but does not develop any finer feelings for her until he meets her later. Any respect he built for Sadaf in that interim was based on guilt at leering after her due to Mirza sb, and it was Mirza sb's disapproval that really made him introspect first at how inappropriate he was about Sadaf in e1 and would have prompted him to make the appointment offer. Further, what cktrs around BA said about Sadaf's personality - her intelligence, her khuddari - is what would have made BA think of Sadaf as more than just some random hottie he saw. But the rona dhona blushing predated all these convos where BA gleaned any meaningful about Sadaf, hence the khichdi.

The piano scene, the blushing and finger writing I feel were all non-verbal cues/shots that Wahaj & Haseeb chose to add to make the cktr look more like a "hero". I think they were too afraid to take the character where the script/writer intended it to go. The character arc would have made more sense this way if the contrasts were played up. That's why the transition from leering to crying on the piano in a matter of an episode was so confusing (to many viewers). Plenty of viewers still struggle to understand what BA is feeling or don't find what they see believable and I think that is not on KRQ only but the choices made by Wahaj & Haseeb.

This is very much a possibility.

From my perspective, BA crying at the piano had nothing to do with Sadaf. It was more a moment of self-reflection, grappling with the embarrassment and pain caused by Namadar’s words. No one had ever called him out for his behavior toward women, and being confronted like that didn’t sit well with him. He’s likely reflecting on the person he’s become and the path he’s taken. - this is how I saw it!

More than Wahaj, I would say it’s Kadwani who wants to cash in on Wahaj’s romantic image.

I can’t remember what happened in episode 4 but the beginning of episode 6 has their eye contact scene in its entirety. Episode 5, it came at the end and Wahaj’s face got covered by all the thumbnails.

Also maybe people are watching every other episode? I mean at this stage, you can catch up with the storyline by doing that. There also the possibility that some of the people who watched it live on Wednesday, don’t on Thursday and catch up online. Frankly at this pace, at least until the main story starts, I think it’s hard to watch live. You can watch it a quicker speed and forward through watching it online. The views are going up, maybe that’s what people are doing.

You know what, this kind of crossed my mind too. But showing up with a dupatta on your head is giving the opposite impression. Plus Sadaf seems to have a lot of self respect but desperate times call for desperate measures I guess. However her dad clarified that Bilal doesn’t take advantage of his employees so why would she think she needs to this?

Cos she hates unearned benefits and wants only those things which she deserves. I think Sadaf’s personal principles are going to play a major part in the story.

I think that's how it was intended in the script. That Bilal is really shaken by what Mirza sb had said. BA is used to people sucking up to him and putting up with his shenaningas without any complaint. To now hear a man that BA has known as a child and whom he respect so highly openly express disapproval was the trigger that made BA introspect, reflect on his worth as a human being, and rethink how inappropriate he has been.

But the blushing and finger writing and nibba expression in same episode really changed the optic on the piano scene (and voice over in it) - from being about Mirza sb's disapproval to being about BA pining/thinking he is not worthy of Sadaf (Wahaj liked a tweet to this effect too) - when that piano moment shouldn't have been about Sadaf at all but Bilal feeling like worthless shit coz of what Mirza sb really think of him.

This is quite common pattern for shows that air twice a week for day 2 epi to get more views than day 1 epi - Bismil, KMKT, JN, etc. all show same pattern.

I would blame it on the editing here. The piano scene should have come at the end of episode 2 or maybe even right after the scene where he breaks the bottle. And like any drunkard, his thoughts disappearing with the night and waking up the next day as if nothing happened, swinging his clubs on the golf course and writing her name in the air getting lost in that moment —all these would’ve made more sense if they had been a lil careful with the editing.

We see Zaviyar dancing in Sadaf and Ammar’s wedding. So does he get cured by then ? Infact everyone seems to be happy at the ceremony.

I don’t know what was actually written vs what is actually being shown unless they come out and tell us but whatever they are showing us is convincing enough to me. Bilal was inquiring and talking about Sadaf before the father’s infamous line about not talking about his daughter while he’s drunk. He felt no guilt or shame until that point. He told Humsha that it was the first time he felt ashamed in front of Mirza Saab. So all his questions and inquiries about Sadaf were not driven by guilt by this point. I think the only part that guilt played in all of this is him insisting that he won’t come face to face with her. Him insisting she take the car, asking Ammar questions about Sadaf to me indicated to the very least that he is inquisitive about her.

As he learned more, his intrigue increased. When he asks Humsha about her, he specifically asks her what her name is before he asks anything else. Unless that was added in and not in the original script (but I heard script changes aren’t allowed in KRQ), it showed his interest in finding out more about Sadaf on a personal level. If it was just about him wanting to offer Sadaf a job because she’s Mirza Saab’s daughter or because of his guilt, he would have just told her to draft a letter and wouldn’t be interested in finding out her name.

Whether it is fixation, infatuation, a challenge, or a forbidden fruit situation can be speculated on but it’s more than just thinking she’s hot at this point. I

I remember when Tere Bin was airing, so many people were confused about Murtasim when he switched to his romantic, flirty persona. People thought he was playing her at the beginning. It made sense to me too. For a romance, developing sudden feelings are acceptable to me. And to be honest, when it came to Murtasim, it never felt so sudden to me.
