I love Hania’s look today. She aced the minimal makeup. But the fake nails are noticeable even there. Easily avoidable. Jahan itni mehnat ki hai wahan these details should also be taken care of.

Opposite for me. I think most top actors are making a conscious effort NOT to do this anymore. So many examples now.

I do appreciate the extra effort and thought put in. It makes the character more believable for me if I’m not distracted by other details.

instead of bilal blushing when he hears sadaf's name, or crying over thoughts of sadaf on the piano, or finger-writing her name in air, they could have created a hook around bilal's intention about appointing sadaf - whether bilal is an ayyash guy who is manipulating sadaf to join his company so he can hit on her, or is he remorseful that mirza sb thinks so badly of him that he won't even let his daughter apply, so trying to make amends.

another place to create suspense would have been bilal's backstory. like jafaa they could have started giving info little by little through flashbacks but revealing the full story a few episodes down the line,

but instead of creating hooks around your lead cktr, they r trying to create hook and drag around the most inane things. it makes these subplots just look ott and stupid. that phone call kab kya and record kahan hai mystery was hella annoying. As someone pointed here, she could have just looked at the call log in her dad's phone if she wanted to know when he called the estate agent

haseeb doesn't know masala maybe and has misfired by trying to create masala where none is warranted while completely letting go of opportunities where hooks could have been created.

That's because Bilal's character is added not written with the story, for him to have a backstory, you have to go back and change all the dialogues between other characters

I think it has also to do with skin tone, all the women going bare face on screen or having "minimal make up" have lighter skin tone, it is much easier to hide make up or use filters on them

All being praised have the light skin tone in common, especially because filters used do nothing but brighten the skin otherwise anyone thinking that this is too much make up hasn't touched make up

I can see her textures so clearly

Same was the case with Sajal's make up in ZPKB, you could see her skin texture too

But the argument has no merit because of two completely different views, till last week she wasn't looking beautiful enough and this week, she was looking way too beautiful for the scene

The scene hasn't changed, opinion has and they are so different for one scene it is surprising, Maya is turning out to be the polarizing figure, point of discussion, which I am not enjoying because this is Bilal aka Wahaj's drama

The whole discussion here is about Maya vs Hiramani

In 2 months, I'll sit and hear "Credit of success goes to Maya and Hiramani" while Wahaj and I'll be like

But they are not showing it, it is more of Sadaf's story than Bilal's story, when someone has none, what do you do? You send the girl to him, what do we have here? We have many characters going to Sadaf, she is central character

If the story was written with keeping Bilal in mind, we wouldn't see inconsistencies in his character, his scene in the car is being repeated because writer has little material to work with.

1 The golf scene - Inconsequential

2 Bilal writing Sadaf's name - Inconsequential

3 Bilal not having monologs because writing "Bilal sitting by the pool crying" is much easier than writing whole monologue for him to explain his feelings. It means there wasn't enough time to include him

4 No scene of Bilal hearing about Namdar's death when he supposedly played a huge role, Bilal didn't return right away, he returned after a few days when the family had come to terms with death of a family member

5 Bilal not trying to figure out what was bugging Namdar when he saw him worrying in the car

Looking back in 6 episodes, there are not many scenes of Bilal which have any stakes in the story

It is very easy to write a story for Bilal but it is simply not there

I more annoyed about the pace. The Zaviyaar revelation should have concluded in the last episode. Her finding out, crying about it, talking to Zaviyaar and deciding to work at Bilal Abdullah should have happened last week.

There’s still quite a few scenes of Bilal and Sadaf coming up where it looks like Sadaf will become much more comfortable with Bilal. How are we going to get there at this pace?
