I noticed him when he used to play supporting roles in 8 pm dramas. And he won my heart in Seerat. It is just that I had no much time for daily soaps. Then Kaffara teasers came and there were no looking back .

When I wrote that comment it was about 5 am here. In fact sometimes I wake up at 2 am or 3 am .. I have sleeping problems.

Kadu uncle will sure repeat Ali and Laiba's pairing. He has no other choice, coz his dramas are falling flat. His last hope is relaying of those couples which chemistry made their shows get attention and TRPs.

I love daily soaps more now. I feel sad waiting the whole week for 2 episodes of my current fav: Iqtidar.

Also seems they kept changing the tracks. Like they show Nani giving her house to salar and Sitara and sitara kept talking about having her own small house toh aise hi laga they'll live there, but phir writer ko hi amnesia ho gaya. Even after Nani's death, it was never mentioned. 🙄

I don't think they added anything. Maybe they rewrite some. Coz this was supposed to be a daily soap from the beginning. And Geo's dailies have at least 70 episodes. So writers have to add episodes. Plus there are many characters who need to pay Kaffara .. and that wouldn't have been possible had this drama ended within 50 episodes.

Yes. Amnesia to hai. And it ought to happen because a writer isn't a computer, she has to write about many characters in a short time. It is tough to remember all what happened before. Also directer and even PH and channel have their say on the happenings I feel. So some changes are made for the demand of the drama.

They would show such long scenes of Salar's family. Itna boring the woh scens. Not only Salar's, but long scenes of mehreen with her parents too. 🤦‍♀️

But one thing I noticed is that all characters stayed true to their characterization till the end. Even then they show Tahir being a shrewd and shady businessman, but he always cared for Salar and looked out for him. Mehreen being classist. Also Saba and Junaid having the most beautiful bond and being supportive of each other.

Good that you are rewatching it. I too felt bored and skipped almost all Salar parents and Sahiba and her parents scenes. Boring scenes were always there, we just became aware of them in the 2nd half of this show because in the beginning of this show Salar, Sitara and her family were entertaining.

The characterization show the brilliance of the show's writer. She did gr8 job. I only have one notice which is Qasim was a good guy in the beginning. He loved Sitara , but he was rejected, he tried to win her, he never shown any signs of the psycho he was turned into when he desided to punish Nimi. Even his reason for punishing her isn't understandable, as she didn't ask him to go to Dubai. He should've punished Salar, who transfered him, and left his jobless. I think writer turned him to abuser in order to punish Nimi as a part of her kaffara.

There were actually so many unresolved issues that they never showed a proper conclusion to.

It still irks me that they never showed Zohaib properly apologizing to Sitara. He was the one who deserved a slap from Sitara.

Also when they show tai and Zohaib finding out the truth about nimmi being responsible, i found their reactions so unsatisfactory. They are like oh how nice Sitara had salar. I was like WT. Like Sitara told Kiran, both salar and Qasim accepted her only after knowing she was innocent and wrongly framed. That doesn't make them great. But writer ended up showing what a great guy salar was and sitara was the ungrateful one. 🙄

Yes. That too. But we shouldn't expect a daily soap would be perfect. There are many progressing tracks, and there are also the same cliched ones. Like it was good watching Sitara work and fights for what it is right. And the cliched ones are the ML has to be the one who should be appreciated for all the good things that happen to the FL.

I prefer that Sitara ignores all those loosers in future, and keeps her realtionship with them formal. I hated watching her and Salar trying to help them solving their problems, as if they were true family. What is family? It is the persons whom you grew up finding them there for you, who love you unconditionally, and trust you. Blood ties are important, but if they turn toxic, it is better you ignore them, or keep your relation with them formal.

I am happy they didn't show them with phoppo and her family happy as a big family. This would've made me vomit.

BTW I was on a trip n second last day of my trip I slipped and now I have ligament tear in my right arm and wearing a sling and am so bored, so back to watching kaffara and discussing it. 😂

Planning to watch ZPKB too, now that it's over.

If in a show they r showing wrong being done by others to anyone else, and that's usually the leads, especially FLs, then they should show proper redemption track. N especially it's a soap so they have ample scope to show that. But they just be lazy and show flashbacks and slo-mos n kinda cheat the viewers.

Yes. Try watching ZPKB and tell me how it is. I didn't watch it , coz I am bad at choosing the dramas I watch. I don't look for the story or the good acting. I only watch for chemistry between lead pair.

I agree. For this I try to keep my expectations very low, to avoid disappointment. I also try not to expect logic from dramas. If you think of it.. even in real life, we face lots of injustic and disappointments. Be it in family, from outside, in work, or even from our husbands. We just learn how to live our lives, pass many things, move on, let bygones be bygones, and try to avoid toxic ppl.
