It just tells me that Bilal wasn't originally written in the script, the character has been added

They could have thrown in a scene where he first hears the news. That would have been nice. By the time he flew in, it had been a few days so we never got his initial reaction. Plus he doesn’t break down in front of people
the drinking is probably to mask that. He did talk about how close he felt to him with the family and was happy when the son said he said good stuff about him. The mom saying she knows all about him and then their refusal to accept help and lying about why Sadaf can’t meet with him threw him off and it was clear he felt disappointed.

I don’t feel he was just randomly written in later though. Too much revolves around him and his company.

Was he hungover the next day? He wore his sunglasses indoors the whole time.

How does he differentiate girls like Humsha, who are also just living their life from Sadaf, who is precious to him. I think it may only be because she is kind of a forbidden love to him. I just dont see Sadaf being any different to Humsha or any of his other employees

That achi ladki dialogue makes me want to put a fist in the not so achcha writer's face.. This is nothing but misogyny covered in poetic words and pretty frames.

I honestly can’t remember a single Pak drama where a girl in western clothes is shown as the main heroine. These characters almost always end up as the “villains” or play second fiddle, while the lead(“the acchi ladki”)is usually dressed conservatively or in traditional attire. People are picking apart every line KRQ writes because of his reputation for misogyny, but the sad truth is, these stereotypes are everywhere in our shows. We’ve completely boxed women into these roles!

Yeh dil mera. Sajal was mostly in western clothes. Maya in yunhi. But it's far and few.

That eye lock was shot so well.

The director muted her makeup and give more importance to the eyes by using kajal so the entire focus of that scene was on her eyes and Maya was good in that scene. She has such beautiful big almond eyes. Bilal closing his mouth and then looking down smiley42.

Maya was really good in the entire episode. She has always been good if the director is good. The entire episode is a clap back at people who constantly criticise her acting because of their personal dislike over her for other reasons.

I am fine with the slow pacing. Some dramas need that slow pacing. This type of dramas are not made to give the adrenaline rush to the audience. This reminds me of jej which I enjoyed as well. If people don't have patience with slow paced dramas they should choose to binge it. It will make them enjoy the drama more.

Except for some dialogues I am liking the overall drama. But it's geo so I will enjoy the ride as long as it's good. Don't have much expectations because geo knows how to ruin everything smiley37
