there's a scene where maya is in bed thinking where the SAME LINES we heard in PREVIOUS scene were REPEATED. what is the purpose of adding this scene if not to drag out the pace This scene could have easily been cut in edit.

More dragging in next episode, she isn't joining yet, no scenes of wahaj and excessive ss to kaddu junior 2

Please remove wahaj from the montage and put kaddu junior 2 there

Maybe we have all got it wrong.... maybe it is a fantasy show.... like reverse sleeping beauty... and we will see sadaf, kaddu, zeher, psycho story while in 24th, sorry 64th episode billu the sleeping beauty will finally make an appearance just 5 mins before the end credits roll

Ok so I thought I would hate the episode more because I saw the spoilers. It wasn’t as bad as I thought. The family scenes were good, I don’t mind their story. It’s more of the trio’s storyline that bothers me.

But I watched it on YouTube so I forwarded through 😂 The pace is super slow and depressing early on and I although I might be patient enough for it and forward through it on YouTube, I suspect the common audience wouldn’t have the patience to watch this live. There is absolutely no way that production team could be unaware that this will affect the numbers. They don’t even have the usual tropes and the overly dramatic scenes that are thrown into Geo shows to grab attention. Then you have Wahaj missing for most of the episode.

All I can hope is that it picks up the pace and moves onto the leads quickly. Why do I feel like all these scenes are dragged out but their scenes together will be quick and brief 😭

All that being said, I was almost prepared for that eye contact scene to be aired at the end of tomorrow’s episode so that’s a bonus. But we are still stuck on Sadaf not wanting to work there. Can she just start working there already so we can get on with the story?

Why did Sadaf refuse to go out and meet Bilal but then went running into the room he was in? Did she suddenly think of something or was she drawn towards him? Also Bilal looked disappointed when the mom said she knows everything about him 😂

Also there is so much left to happen but the story is still stuck. Get on with it already

I saw the last 5 minutes today only 😂 So I just know that much. Also that eye contact was cut so short and absurdly as the freeze point of the episode what the heck. Let it SIMMER 🤦🏻‍♀️ Yeh tou hum ne last week hi dekh liya tha so like… what a cop out.

I also don’t understand why Sadaf ran out after specially telling her mom to send Humsha in. What is this 😂

From the next promo it seems like there still won’t be any main leads ke scenes. Wahaj ka bus aik scene hoga with Sadafs mom and then one where he’s moping around his house. That’s it. Idk why they aren’t starting the story. What’s the hold up

I completely agree—the pacing is the biggest flaw in SMD. But despite that, I have to say I loved the last scene—it was beautifully executed by everyone, even Humsha, who was mostly in the background. There’s something about forbidden feelings that, the more you try to push them away, the more your heart and mind gravitate toward them unconsciously. That’s what we saw with Bilal before, and now it’s happening with Sadaf.

i just don't get it. if you were not going to have the leads meet for 5 episodes, at least you should have made the first time in e1 more dhamekedar. how do u expect viewers to buy in and invest in a couple that haven't even been in one frame for five episodes

Writer doesn’t know how to write an impactful romance - even if it’s an unrequited one - and director also didn’t fix anything in the script to make it impactful. Yes the frames are pretty but end of the day content is what matters. And Wednesday Thursday has better shows like Bismil and Dunyapur which are so happening. Since I’m following those too, the pace in SMD is unbearable. Even watching for just Wahaj is not paying off since he’s barely in it. Literally forwarded the whole thing today to watch a scene I had already seen in the promo last week 🤦🏻‍♀️

This is beyond disappointing

I was so excited for this drama, sold as love story which isn't even there
