My biggest frustration with SMD at the moment is the sluggish pace—they really need to speed things up. It feels like they’re devoting far too much screen time to Jr. Kadwani, which is unfair to the rest of the cast who deserve more focus(u know who😊).I’ve come to terms with the dialogues since I knew what to expect going in, but what’s keeping me invested is BA’s storyline. His backstory, and especially his relationship dynamics with Sadaf and Humsha- on how it’s going to unfold is keeping me intrigued. To me, SMD’s world is a fantasy realm, very Bansali-esque in its grandeur and style. So I actually don’t mind the use of those archaic words/dialogues—it fits the world they’ve created, and I’m all in. But seriously, they need to pick up the pace now and give us more of Bilal Abdullah and I need to see more of his story unfold.

His earlier projects weren't that bad, Pyare Afzal and MNYH changed Huumza's career.. PA is still remembered. He started this achi larki thing since MPTH, but it made sense in that one, even though problematic, since it was about cheating. Then he decided to double down like Vanga

Apparently Pyaare Afzal also ha too much kameena going on and the kasam khana was on repeat. People hate KRQ now so are just nit picking on things that were a feature in his old dramas. What I can say about PA and some of his earlier works is that they had strong characterization and tightly woven scripts, and there were enough punchy KRQ dialogs to compensate for the oft-occurring terrible lines. SMD lacks some of these positive aspects of old KRQ scripts but retains their negative tendencies.

I don't think he said that.. he was speaking in reference to Bilal that Bilal never forces women, those who go to him go willingly

The ended the scene on their meet...so in 5 episodes these two have only 5 sec of scenes together and none in the same frame yet, kaddu uncle is really testing patience

do you mean the scene they already spoilt by sharing the whole clip

i just don't get it. if you were not going to have the leads meet for 5 episodes, at least you should have made the first time in e1 more dhamekedar. how do u expect viewers to buy in and invest in a couple that haven't even been in one frame for five episodes

They are absolutely showing no interaction between leads in a show which is apparently a love story

With the excessive screenspace to sideys and kaddu junior 2 and blink and miss appearance of wahaj, and the slow screenplay do they think they're gonna get a blockbuster

Kaddu uncle seriously needs to sit down with his team and strategise well, geo is doomed.
