I was watching the Dussehra episode of TMKOC in which jethalal saw Ravan in his dream and they preaches that now we should stop celebrating it as it has been more than 1000 years since his death and we should move on and they justify it by saying that Ravan is less bad than today's generation, why these people are behind our festivals?? I haven't seen a single show or movie saying we should stop celebrating Bakri eid
I think the underlying message was that nobody in today's times is as flawless and dutiful as lord ram owing to which jetha accepts that he is a flawed person.
