Court ke chakkar lag rahe they to release the movie..but they stood by it and movie was released..maybe because kahin politics ya koi religious sentiment issue na hojaye and people start boycotting release honey se pehle hi...ya maybe unnecessary trolling se bachana tha ..who knows the reason..ab jab positive feedback mil raha hai..the interviews are coming out..recently Netflix released Junaid and Jaideep's interview.

The overall experience was a bit underwhelming for me. Maybe my expectations were too high, but I wasn't satisfied in the end. It felt like the director/writers held back a lot, probably too scared to offend any religion. Krasandas kept insisting that he's a devout Vaishnu/Hindu and just wants to expose the charlatan using religion to exploit people, likely to avoid upsetting religious fanatics. The cinematography is the best part of the movie, and Junaid Khan did well for a debutant. At times, his dialogue delivery reminded me of Ranveer's.

I liked the movie, and it allowed Junaid to show his acting prowess.

I think Junaid is a fine actor, didn’t find his acting OTT, but found it very good for a new comer.

Here’s hoping he makes it big in Bollywood.

I wonder if his interest isn't more in theatre plays...and a movie from time to time...

Why wasn’t this released in theatres. It has songs shot with hint of grandeur and Junaid looks promising. I think he might look very well suited for mainstream hero roles because he has the height and built for that for starters and also good acting capabilities. They should have promoted this film!!!

My question would be: "Why wasn't the movie released 3 years ago???" (It had been ready in 2021)...and another question I ask myself: "Why didn't Aamir accept Junaid as the Indian 'Forrest Gump'???".

Junaid told (in interviews) that his father "let them be"...oh, there is much scope of interpretation, isn't it?

I think that there is a huge difference between professional/image-conscious Aamir and private Aamir...but still, common traits shine through.

He was asked in interviews also why such a hushed launch without any promotion to which he replied this is YRF & Netflix's call on how they market the film.

It was meant for the big screen but i guess after YRF's slate of flops they sold the film to netflix.

Considering Junaid's background and the fact that he is a good & promising actor, it's unfair that his film was not promoted. The other star kids get papped like crazy and here this guy debuted without even a trailer. It's good that Maharaj is Globally no 2 but still not a tweet from AKP ?

I watched the film sometime ago. My thoughts on Junaid are mixed. I don't think he's a bad actor at all. I don't know why people keep saying his theatre background isn't a good fit for cinema and that he's OTT. I didn't feel that way at all about him. Lookswise, I still think he doesn't come close to Aamir in his prime. But he's not bad looking although his profile shot does not suit him.

My main issue with Junaid was his voice. His voice doesn't suit his looks or build. I realized afterwards why his voice kept bothering me and it's because it reminds me of Uday Chopra, an actor I cannot stand.

However, while Junaid had a decent debut, I feel this film was maybe not the best vehicle for him. His character in inspiring but I feel Sharvari outacted him with a more interesting character and the Maharaj character was easily the most dynamic. Junaid wasn't as memorable as them and I don't think I would take much notice of him compared to them if he wasn't Aamir's son. Also, the nature of this film is that the storyline is more important than Junaid's own character, so as good a human being as he is, his character doesn't leave a strong impression.

Maybe I'm unfairly comparing him to Aamir here but you leave QSQT falling absolutely in love with Aamir's character. Aamir's character from QSQT is iconic to this day and I wouldn't say that about Junaid's character.

I think better star vehicles for him will suit him in the long run. He's starting off with more talent than most of the other star kids. I also feel more sympathy for him because it doesn't seem like Aamir's been a very good father to him and didn't do much to promote his first movie. He also seems more the intellectual type, and interested more in being perceived as a good actor than as a big star, but he doesn't come across as fake or insecure as Aamir does. So I find him a lot more likable as a person and will likely continue to watch his films.
