Because she has apparently promised her late Pati that she'll not let the family break it seems!! She hugged and cried with Manoj and Manisha after the Vidya theatrics.. 
But no matter that she asked her grandchild to break the MS out of his wife's neck! And she manipulated the daughter in law to lie in court that led to their divorce.. that doesn't count as breaking the family..
I am not asking her to leave ./I am only saying why did she not threaten to leave if Armaan and Abhira were not accepted ..and don’t forget ..she did leave and then had a heart attack lol

If I am not wrong she said har din koi na koi ghar chodke jaane ke dhamki de rah toh jaao hum akele hi teek hai ..Something like that dialogue on pani sar ke upar gayi episode...But Armaan Abhira ko nahi jaane diya
