i don't think it's the montage. Anupamaa and aadhya are on the montage. This is just a family pic to introduce Anupamaa's grown up grandkids

But it was surprising that Shivam was not on the 1st montage when he is very much there in the promo

See I want to think Kaveri's behavior is a part of a bigger plan cause that will make her character fun..... But then I also almost sure that the writers have barely a clue about character arcs to shape beyond like a week or so.

Thank you for echoing my thoughts, coz I feel the exact same thing. Be it Sanjay/Kaveri or even Ruhi - they all have at some point or the other, explicitly detailed their plan & what their end goal is to someone.

So I would say, give it another episode or 2 (Ruhi & Sanjay exposed themselves in the same duration). Agar Kaveri ka real motive bahar nahi aata, then I can assure you, her only motive is to enmesh Abhira & Armaan so much into the family & firm, that they do not think about leaving at the drop of a hat or when someone asks them to
