Wrong place promotion. She should target family audience. One of my acquaintance wants to show her kids (boy and girl) the movie as the movie is based on brother sister bonding. So the parent wants to take them to see it though the GenZ kids are not interested but the parent is insisting.

Karan Alia should know their target audience.

This is the multiplex /gen z audience mainly and also since Jigra going pan India release, it totally makes sense to go for promotion at such an event, great move.

Teaser / Trailer is enough for family audience, they wouldn’t watch / attend any other promotion event anyway.

This reminds me of the time Samantha showed up at a college for promoting shakuntalam and her fans on x were all “ong queen look at the turnout for her ..such a superstar..” only to be corrected by the students saying “err …there is an arijit Singh concert there in abt an hour, and Sam scheduled the promotions ahead of the concert”

But here no one is saying turn out is for Alia . Alia fans are just enjoying her entry / whatever little promotion she did in this Alan walker’s concert / evening.

Audience pay hefty amount for concert to watch the singer. Nobody wants another celebrity promoting their movie except may be Srk and Salman. Most Genz are not interested in the movie. Most Genz don't know all hindi actors, they are in their own world of anime, kpop and fanfictions.

There is a Shaan concert and am interested but definitely wouldn't like anyone else interrupting his singing for their movie promotion.

lol it’s not the first time and won’t be the last time. Movie stars make appearances at concerts all the time and come for few mins out of 3/4 hrs concerts. This is not a new concept. Even if not movie starts there would be sometime other singers too accompanying main singers. Generalization / saying on behalf of all doesn’t make sense. Fans will enjoy regardless and likewise haters would frown regardless.

Definitely didn't generalize. Said most won't like it. Because the amount spend to watch all these singers concert are high very high. Moreover audience stand the whole time. Standing is what deterring me to go watch Shaan concert. So in that time if someone interrupts many won't like. Those who genuinely love the celebrity interrupting will only like it.
