He didn't die. There is a post credit scene where Munna now works for the police.

KRQ shows are never too long . Gentleman ended at 28. I expect SMD to be around the same. Kadwani can't drag it cos he won't let them and they would need to find another writer to finish the show.

Haseeb Hassan never drags his shows too. They always end at 30-33 episodes. Even if we leave aside Haseeb and KRQ, Maya doesn't do such shows .
