Armaan was self absorbed thinking only about himself, so was ruhi(usko bhi apne ummeed ke aage koi nahi dikhta tha not even armaan). Only difference I felt was armaan didn't do anything intentionally like ruhi. But dono ka effect abhira pe same hi tha - she was on the receiving end.

Ab uska tho koi Kya ho kare.. she's the FL.. so by that virtue alone she has to be at the receiving end of everything bad 🤕 but Ruhi wasn't expected to consider Abhira's pain.. Armaan on the other hand has no such excuses or defense.. it would have been really weird if they had shown him realize his mistake with someone else's intervention even though it kinds fits with his history and character sketch... But small mercy that he woke up all on his own

Maybe Poddars might want Armaan and her married post Rohit’s death (IF this track is what they are going with) but it will not be from her side. Same thing happened with her matashree and poppy.
