No, it very much matters to both Ani and Jhanak a lot that the other accept their marriage as valid....just that Ani is able to say it in a more straightforward way while Jhanak always gaslights him or gives him passive aggressive answers to deny that she considers their shaadi valid.

Ani is not able to correlate the intimacy with marriage because he gets brutally rejected by Jhanak every time and he doesn't have memory of that intimacy....so he is presuming it was a moment of getting carried away in emotions. He put more weight into the fact that Jhanak informed him about her surgery so that means she wants him to be considered responsible for her well being...that called to him more than the intimacy...he was so happy over her having informed as if that was as good as a love confession...and immediately after seeing her, all of his questions were about this only that didn't you want me to come, don't you consider me your husband?

Using this intimacy angle again and again as an argument doesn't work at this point because Ani doesn't remember it....if Jhanak wants to hold on to that as a grudge then she is again wasting her time....why is he being vilified still for something that he doesn't remember? Main point is ki seedha seedha bolo if you consider him your husband and want to be with him, period.

It's about prioritization at this point....Jhanak needs to make her priorities clear or leave the arena and not bother with him.

If going by the case, Ani started to live with Arshi as they both consented to the marraige then. But again he was hesitant to complete the rituals with Arshi. J will not accept his advances publically if he clearly doesn't give her wife status in front of his family...and her rejecting him every time can be explained by her mother's status as a dusri aurat...so untill and unless Ani can give her the assurance that she is his wife, she will flip..

I don't agree....Jhanak can't expect this from him after brutally rejecting publicly and privately many times...she has declared in front of big crowds also how much she has rejected him. So if she can't even bring herself to admit to him that she considers him her husband, then she has no standing to demand a public declaration from him first.

She only uses her mom's past per convenience for her selective morals....none of that stops her otherwise from still claiming her didi ka so called pati as her pati and even sleeping with him....so all this moral policing from her comes across as double faced then.

Honestly, I don't want Runak to unite permanently at this stage...kyunki again after a point of time, both of them will doubt whether the other one really want to stay in the marriage...they must choose themselves without any baggages, without being pressurised by any external factor ..

Yes, the pattern is clear....Jhanak has rejected him EVERY SINGLE TIME that he has gathered courage to share his feelings with her and try to convince her of his love....so now the onus absolutely lies on her to atleast admit she considers him her husband and loves him....that is the bare minimum. Uske baad she can blame him if he still doesn't take a stand for her.....but until then, the ball is in her court to atleast admit she considers their shaadi valid and always has. She has to make amends for her many brutal rejections and no, it won't be amended just by bringing that flower to him....he needs the words from her without them being taken back as something said in delirium.

I never said I want them to unite permanently at this stage either. I'm simply talking about the fact that a basic communication is needed about their stance regarding their shaadi ki validity based on the current high point. I don't expect everything to fall into place for them simply with a confession but they do need to support each other again rather than always standing against each other in every form.

Some of their previous dynamic needs to be rekindled where Jhanak atleast listened to him enough to let him take her to the doctor. The constant state of making wrong presumptions about each other has been over-saturated at this point and a brief reprieve is needed from that.

Why can't Ani also attempt to move on if Jhanak does the same every single time after leaving him? Why is only he being judged for trying to move on? lol it's a journey for both of them to realize that their attempts to move on are futile every time.
