the shows before ghum are not slot leaders as colors shows are slot leaders for 6.30-8 but ghum gives a good base to the channel by being the slot leader at 8 & from their star plus gets an edge over other channels ....that's why they promote ghum I guess ..as ghum gets above 2 without any support from previous slot & provides good base to shows ahead of it

Agreed ghum gets promoted for this very reason...as it's previous slots are not performing well so channel promotes ghum for the base..so it's ahead shows also gets benefit like jhanak gets upma's benefit

& Also shahi has the most influence on the channel so he can get rishta promoted more than ghum easily but he is just not interested...as he just wants to increase its numbers so why to waste money on promos ...so only upma's promotions on full swing while rishta remains on auto pilot with decent numbers just to increase the Episode numbers

My only point was it that this is done by every fd, I have seen UKA ML's fans make fun of Rohit and Armaan a lotttt. Their fd called Abhimaan hawas couple. Provocation is not done just from one side or one fd.

imo Rishta fd is the worst in ITV, but this is also true that Gen 4 gets unnecessary hate from all Gen 3, and other current shows fd on SM.
