Some of the Korean dishes are quite good but some of them I didn't like a lot..Some like tteokbokki and fried dishes are tasty..😄😊

I have to mention wonderland of love ..I've been watching it since the last few days ..

Well it's a personal choice , I liked it ..I liked it as the show progressed..the first half, the first 20-23 epis which were mostly strategic battles to usurp the throne ..the other half was palace politics which I liked better as it had more depth & emotion..Xu Kai and Jin tian were exceptional in their roles..

The leads are good , their characters are great ..both are equals ..in strategizing , in fights, in courage ..their flirting initially was cute , the bets were cute ..the time spent was cute..when they talk they really talk & talk sense ..the action is good.. thankfully we were spared of the gory battle scenes , they were skipped mostly.. we were just told so and so city was taken over..

Just a few initial epis I didn't like much coz I felt she was using his feelings to her advantage..but her feelings were real (she said it later😆 i couldnt believe it for so long ) so it didn't matter..Thereafter it was him , mostly , who was mad at her n later made up to her..

I read in the reviews that he keeps cleaning her mess , I didn't feel it that way ..just once in the initial epis when she made him faint & went to fight the enemy alone , that was stupid....rather , she was like an iron pillar to him , she had a better foresight than him, she was intelligent , level headed , as well as shrewd .. ..she was a well written & well rounded character .she would anyday make a better ruler than him.

Initially I couldn't understand his wish to give up everything & lead a peaceful life far away, as the emperor was a clown , his brothers were useless & the throne was not safe in their hands ..only he was capable enough to be the emperor and get that peace which he wishes for..this is what she tried to drill it in him.....but later on as the story progressed & his dilemma came forth , it was played out really well..and basically formed the crux of the whole story

he got a rude awakening & so many lives were lost to finally make him wake up ..epi 30 was the turning point in the story ..

Both were quite right in their perspectives. So when he explained it to her , what they will lose , I totally got it..she too was correct but like consort xio said , the life of crown prince and crown princess comes with a lot of difficulty and sacrifices..when it came to walking the walk and talking the talk, she snapped lol ..he couldnt treat her unjustly , he couldn't lose her , he couldn't lose the throne to useless ppl or traitors , there was a lot he had to balance & a lot was achieved with sacrifices and compromises ..she was unhappy to begin with but understood later

All the epis following epi 30 , except 38,39 (which were really stupid btw ) , were quite nice to watch..their romance , angst , passion , everything was a treat to watch ..Their first night was exiting 🤣 sword fight 🤣 the scene after their consummation was amazing as well..🤣

A side note for the side characters.. seriously how delusional can one be ? Both Mr chungfeng and Ms gu were total drama company and their nautanki became comic after a while..how many times did he have to come bk frm dead , kidnap her , stage the shadi natak and dream of a happy married life with her, it was really foolish , giving so much screen space to them ..it was a waste..

The last bit with minister gu was very weak , as though they were trying to just fill up the 40 epis..epi 38, 39 were stupid ..she died and woke up just like that.. and they suddenly started talking abt hours spent and all🤣

But anyways.. the last episode made up for it..this is one show where the story felt really complete with the marriage & kids ..and a glimpse of their blissful married life too..adorable ..

I've read till the end of the moon is a better show so I'll be watching that one..something else in between.

I love it when we have takkar ke leads - equal in thoughts, strategy and everything you mentioned. Loved them. I like Xu kai, so I was in for him. FL surprised me, rather impressed me. I totally loved her character.

From carefree, target driven children to responsible and matured royals, they grew well and fit their roles aptly. Their friends cum messengers were good but the Mister Xui and Ms Gu was such a pain.

His dilemma, as a son, a lover, a husband, a warrior, a free spirited man and a crown prince was shown well. Her insistence for him to be the crown prince to become new emperor was valid. Her disheartening for dismissal of her father's army, as a daughter and fighter was understood and acted well too. I missed her old badass self and for a smart girl like her, not to be active towards last few epis were a big miss. But later they started understanding and her father recovering well brought back her thoughtful self back.

But towards ending, what were they doing in last 2-3 epis, I don't know, my interest dropped too much. The coordination between leads I felt a miss towards the end as well. Li did not have any information or idea of Mister Lui, after he surrendered himself. she had no idea of what Gen Gu was planning or his daughter did. They met in some odd restaurant but did not ask what the other was doing. After she suddenly flew back from the coffin, he never asked what had happened to her or how she was alive after hum crying over her for this long. She talked with the other two, what could have happened. It all felt a little undercooked.

Lastly, their peaceful life was shown well. He gave up crown for late emperor's son and resumed the life he wanted with family. Their children and closest friends were a warm one to conclude with. Overall, I liked the show. Had fun.

O you watched wol, I thought you'll see as beautiful as you first 😁

Wol was a little off in many places but overall quite nice , as in romance , action , characters , I liked everything..it looked like a fairytale..yeah last few epis were very stupid, I told ya🤣 they were literally fooling around ..there was no need for more enemies / traitors..I had to ff his mourning scenes , It's painful to watch the leads who you love you much going through so much..i badly wanted her to wake up but the way she did , it was almost comical..if she just woke up in his arms , I'd be happier ❤️

the first few epis were a little drag, some of the tracks were not well written & the script was jumpy ..plus we had this idiot obsessing over the fl ..here , who rules the world was much better..each track was excellent there....I liked wol better after they returned to the palace , i think epi 16-17 ..N I got deeply involved from there..

His conflict was very real ..what we desire is most of the time different from what we have to choose ...he couldnt escape the destiny he was born with ...he was trying to , for a long time ...but she was always more perceptive & smart than him , no wonder she could see it clearly but not him....both of them together covered up for each other's faults and that was the best part..I abs loved the fl here , much more than the ml ..

In the end , I'd still wish he was there as a support to his cousin rather than leave the palace altogether ..like the army general or someone ..he could still fight wars & protect the borders but which king would prefer a life of a commoner🤔 the one with more power, kindness & smartness has more responsibility towards the throne ..coz only they can rule better and protect their people..

O and the album with the scenes from their story painted by them was abs adorable ..very nice touch 👌

Actually, I watched C dramas, Love is sweet, Only for love and Best Choice ever recently. All with a office backdrop, so needed some change in C drama

Even I would have liked it, if he could stay by his younger brother. His father died, uncle-aunty went to some mountain, other cousins died and finally Li also left him to the empty palace. If, how they showed, that peace prevailed, than he could have lived their with family peacefully. But, he never liked the palace from the start and lived in most of his youth in that pass with his friends, where he dreamt of living his rest of the life with family, and them, like it was in the end. So, it was ok, on his part.

Yes, memory paint album was cute, creative and done well.
