They are playing it again and again....when actually it is not making much sense...for them to listen to it repeatedly..and Arshi and AK coming to them asking to not listen to it....They are fighting then when it's actually just a song...

So it is definitely a foreshadowing of their "Milan ki Raina" coming closer....and them fighting for it....

Love how you put it here :).....Yes, the fact that both of them couldn't stop listening to that song even when the sideys were trying to cut them off from the song....jaise dono apne dil ki awaaz ke liye lad rahe ho through that song...it felt like an extension of their emotions.
