I don't think that will be shown in Hindi version. Cousin marriage is looked down upon in North. I guess even in Marathi version, they are not related, where such marriages are prevalent.

Also, I think Vasu's and her father ate from different community.

I don't know about this.but in Marathi , blood group of both chandrika and vasu are same.
