Also IVC excavations had got us some dice indicating them having played Dice games

Also the piling of stones one over the other indicates that probably they played the Indian game of Pitto..

Seems a lot of things we do today has an origin from that time

IVC is base of our civilization. Majority of our ancestry belongs to IVC.

While majority of our ancestry but the general consensus is that Sanskrit and Indo European languages were brought from outside

We are legacy of both. IVC got merged into IE civilization giving rise to Hindu civilization.

If that was the thing, wouldn't we have known anything about IVC, their language, their script, their mythology. Why dont we know anything

There are certain things that we still carry. The sindoor, The fire altars, worship of Pipal tree, etc. Ofcourse, majority of it is IE. But it would be wrong to say we totally lost IVC.

I personally have my apprehension in believing IVC had nothing to do with Vedic civilization although that's the majority view

Even if they weren't the the IE speakers, they definitely were highly influenced by them

To be honest there is no proper evidence to support that they weren't IE speakers.

The only reasoning here is that IE speakers have to be with Steppes genes something which in itself has never been established
