Okay I am going to play the Devil's advocate here, if DKP really couldn't afford a "Grand wedding" and they really are getting married by the end of this week, why couldn't they do that Mandir Shaadi?
Because at that point of time, the story was comparatively less toxic, they were ready to elope and Armaan had even bought a house for both of them. When Dadisa supposedly agreed for a Grand wedding, this track should have been reserved solely for that. The IR parallel track would have been enough to suffice for all the drama and the kanyadan needed for it.
Why did DKP think that those ridiculous prenup clauses, financial differences and the forced infertility/adoption track would fetch numbers and audience would want the couple to get married even under such vile familial circumstances?
Because at this point despite having soft corner for leads and loving their chemistry, I really don't want them to get married at this time. Infact Abhira can stay in Missouri and Armaan can pack his bags and permanently move to Himalayas.
