It's hard to gather any self worth after getting bullied. Bullying breaks into pieces slowly and steadily. Part by part.

Both Armaan and Abhira s self worth has been destroyed. So much that now the they think they deserve all the abuse. They think probably it's their fault that they are getting bullied.

It is one of characteristics trait of many abuse victims.

Kaveri is also not completely against the wedding. She asks Armaan to think before taking any decision as it is his life and he should not regret in future. Koi shaadi ke against hai bhi ya nahi. Abhira bhi convince ho jayegi lagta hai. And they'll get married phir shaadi ke baad roz yahi yaad dilayenge maa nahi ban sakti karke

see this is why i needed memory loss track more for her than armaan. She was 10x fun as a poddar hater.

Armaan abhira dynamic was very good during this phase. She can tell him whatever she wants on his face. He also used to listen atleast.
