1st ep:

This ep started with a happy family . Anmol and her siblings cheering for Pakistani Cricket Team. Anmol plays the responsible girl who works to provide her family. There's a guy who seems to be interested in her, but I think his mom isn't happy with a working woman as her DIL.

Anmol is sometimes over. She clashed with Ali Raza in their first meeting. As he came to the office to meet the boss and she refused to allow him, and a bit mosbehaved with him which hits his ghuroor as he belongs to a rich political family.

Ali's mom is played by Rubina Ashraf.. who is no less arrogant than her son.. but she covers it with pretending to be a good human. Anoml also clashed with her when police stopped trafic to make way to Rubina to attend a liberary opening cermony. Anmol asked her to make the old liberarian to cut the ribbon.

I watched the first episode of Iqtidar by fast fowrwarding and only Ali Raza was good. Anmol is a limited actress and also she comes more across batameez than a sensible strong girl. PTV doesn't know how to make a good sensible female lead and only a few shows have done it right. Rubina Ji as usual is giving oscar worthy performance. Looking forward to more of her

I was thinking why this show seems similar to munafiq. Turns out its from same writer.

The OST is so good. I think chemistry wise they are gonna serve so hard. I liked the first episode too. 😭

Can't wait for their love story to start. Enemies to lovers have always been my favourite trope.
