What is the show about?

Nia Sharma plays the titular role Nishigandha. She has to collect solah (16) shringar to become the most powerful. Nishi has to marry a guy who matches her kundali and after suhagraat has to kill him to get one shringar. She had already collected 14 shringars in 208 years when the show started. Each one like necklace, earring, anklet, bindi, kamarband, nose ring, all 14 have different powers. On the first episode she kills 15th husband and gets maangtika.

On to the 16th and last shringar sindhoor, her kundali matches with male lead moksh. He has a childhood love diya who is his kawach blessed by goddess. Nishi takes him under her control doing sammohan (kind of hypnotism). He decides to marry nishi and leave diya. Whenever moksh was out of sammohan sometimes, he remembered only childhood love diya and hated nishi. Diya gets to know nishi is chudail and on the wedding day, diya plans such a way that both of them end up as his wives.

Story of what happened 208 years back gets revealed later. Nishi was burnt because of tricks played by princess shalaka, a lookalike of diya to snatch nishi's love shantanu. Moksh has shantanu's soul. Nishi turns positive knowing that moksh is shantanu, diya died and shalaka who had buried herself in ice for 208 years comes back.

The current story is like nishi and moksh are in love as he gets back memories from the past. Main villain maha asur and shalaka are trying to break them. The story will end in 2 weeks now.
