Dunno about Pakistan but if you are going for handbag shopping in India, you can get really cute and great bags at as little as 300-400 INR in the right places. Like if you go to Barabazar in Kolkata, I got a gold glazed wedding guest style bag for only 250 INR. Leather bags can also start at as little as 250 INR and Handloom bags can be as affordable as 100 INR.

Isn't Sitara supposed to be middle middle class though? They are gareeb by Sikandar standards, not by actual economic standards.

I think what we thought was the engagement is going to be the walima perhaps. It was pretty unclear from the beginning whether that was engagement or walima and now it seems that is the walima.
