Also they used Pranali and Jay's photo but Akshara was played by Neerja of KA after the leap (usually the shows only use shots of the replaced actor and won't use any shots of the actor who preciously played that role but here they are so chill with showing Pranali as Akshara in flashbacks)

There was a Pakistani show I watched which was called "Meesni"

So in that after the generation leap, the actress was replaced and the original actress now played the role of her daughter Hania.

So while the face of this new actress didn't resemble that of Hania at all but everyone recognised her and got recalled of her mother just by seeing her. While they even recognised the mother at once. It's like makers told us to believe that both mother and daughter have the same face(though it wasn't even near that)

Think of same here. Like when showing a child having grown up has different actor yet both are considered to be the real face waise hi maybe according to makers when characters grow old they have different actor yet represents the same face
