Yes, he was feeling bad because Gul Khan can handle such things better than Leena, but I feel Ani is someone close to Arnav about creating an image of a woman in his head and obsess about it

The only constant truth, in all of this, is Ani's true love for J. Yes the outward manifestations are not always necessarily right, most times , it comes across as Ani wronging J, but he has no control over his emotions when it comes to J.

He knows not what to do, how to handle, what he feels for J, at varying times ! Tabhi galat tarike ka outbursts dekhne ko mil jati hai ! He loses himself, bhavnao mein beh jata hai ! Not a great head space to be in either, specially for some one as level headed as Ani, to lose control over his own self , mouth and actions!

The makers have drawn a parallel, where he is "sane" and "polite" to everyone else , despite how pissed off he might be with them. A classic example is addressing S as "Shrishti ji" and calling her "aunty" in the very next sentence ! He doesn't "cross" line with any one else, and is at his "civil" best !

Except for his J ! When it comes to J, he holds no bar ! It's like sabse zyada daant, tiraskar aapko unhi se milti hai, jo aapse sabse zyada pyar bhi karte hai ! Coz they care, and you matter to them ! Nehi toh indifferent hote !

The outbursts are not correct, but then again, every person has their own way of expressing ! Who am I to judge ! J ko na fark padta, na hi J ke outbursts se , Ani ko padta hai ! They know too well that they are eo's biggest well wishers!
