But I do love this flawed imperfect man..A 28-29 year old young man...had taken the responsibility of a 21 year old young girl...he was not a parent, neither had he any good experience with his own parents ..he made certain flawed decisions...he made mistakes...but the situation in BH was so bad, they were not even allowed to talk to eachother in normal circumstances...so much pressure on him from every side...yet he managed to do the best for her whatever and whenever he could...

Yes...a character growth is definitely necessary.... I want RuNak to flourish together..and without character growth as Shohini said no matter how many times RuNak are gonna meet they will fall apart.....but still with all his flaws what Aniruddh Bose has done for Jhanak is endearing.....

Bcz ultimately these are only character flaws....that both our leads have ...but they are ultimately good human-being stuck in very complex circumstances and now trying to deal with the circumstances with their own core traits.....

The fact that she despite her innocence and circumstances still could hold on to her principles,stand up for herself ...when required...

My reading of Ani has been that of a very soft hero.. very unlike heroes on TV. I liked that the romance almost developed very organically. Ani may have had strange methods to achieve goals for jhanak but he usually did not impose beyond a point. I guess he felt Jhanak’s fierce spirit wouldn’t accept too much of spoon feeding given their strange relation and ( he wasn’t looking at her as his wife) so he wanted her to get more independent so she could manage herself… that they fell in love is separate thing… and his modes of achieving goals got more convoluted as time passed coz his heart interfered in that. Apart from the Adi chapter, his jealousy was usually in check.

He has a certain vulnerability that I haven’t seen in ITV ML generally.

And I really cant answer your question of whom will Anirudh run to when both girls insult him, because my understanding of Anirudh is quite different from yours. As far as I understand him, he is not a man who runs behind every other girl .

@bold , This is not what I want to watch and it wouldn't entertain me .And also I dont think Anirudh as such deserve to be in any such situation , all he needs is his share of love which he has showered unconditionally on his family members and the girls be it risking his life or be it being a great friend 💕💕💕

My understanding of Anirudh is similar to yours

He accepted his fate with Arshi, and he chose her side as I can clearly see that he had to do so. He has suppressed his true emotions so much and sacrificed himself on the ground of promises and wishes he made to himself and Jhanak to keep Arshi didi happy even if he had to kill himself for this which in my understanding he had literally done by choosing Arshi over staying single.

But I can’t deny the fact that was stated in the show by Arshi that when there is an argument between Ani and her Ani was going to get closer to Jhanak in the past. But now Ani is facing lots of pressure from Jhanak, so as Arshi said he will be closer to Arshi.

I was not trying to say that he is running after both girls but him choosing sides as per situation is what makers chose to show us since Arshi birthday party. However, deep inside Anirudh only belongs to Jhanak and he himself knows that but makers are not showing his thought process to us.

That’s why I had this question, whose side will he choose now if both J and Arshi insult him. For me I feel and hope he will choose Jhanak😍, though he may show to the whole world that he hates her. But it will only be drama. J’s presence in his life brings back his suppressed emotions. That is why he’s said to Arshi not to push him to the memories of Jhanak, as he is not able control himself when it comes to Jhanak, and we see it time and time again. The last example is Mumbai jealousy track
