Not to mention, Salar is incredibly unpredictable, sounds unserious, is brash and can become very aggressive. If you look from her perspective, she becomes fast friends with her cousin's cash-strapped photographer friend at her other cousin's wedding. She is kind to him, he indulges her fantasies, they have banter and trust. Yet when she protects him, he not only refuses to back her up and plead their innocence but also actively deflects it back on her, leaving her with a tarnished reputation, and then disappears. The next she sees him, he is a whole other person - rich, privileged and aggressive - and absolutely humiliates her and destroyed all shreds of her honour and dignity and by extension her family very publicly. The two events, back to back, are traumatic in their own right. Next, this guy turns up at her college with an arrogant non-apology and claims of truth. This is followed by his relentless mocking of her upcoming marriage with Qasim, something that is at this point her lifeboat. He then arranges for Qasim to lured away, making even a bigger public spectacle of her baraat being sent back, then again calls and mocks her with claims of sympathy followed by him destroying any illusion of hope by first exposing Qasim to her, and then telling Salman about Qasim's reality. Then, he harasses her with relentless phone calls and follows her around, asking her to decline her absolute last option, that is, marriage with the Qatari dude. Then he gatecrashes and destroys her second wedding, humiliates her entire family again and claims to love her. This is followed by his own claims of sympathy and not love and then sends in lavish gifts which further creates division in her family. Once they fight and despite his own claims that he is no longer going to do anything for her, Salar does back up what was a lie to her Taya. THIS momentarily calms her down and gives her the space that she needed to think. They meet for the last time and then part on cordial terms (again her perspective, Salar ka toh kuch aur hi chal raha tha). She is going to study further and work and he is off to Canada. End of the story.
Except it is not. He keeps calling her for no reason despite her avoidance and rudeness. His BIL is up to date with very personal info, at Salar's request, something that is borderline stalkerish, an info that seems to matches upto what her cousin told her about the BIL's character. Then, her brother and family mentally, emotionally and verbally abuse and bully her into a marriage with a supposedly newly reformed cousin, something that she is actively trying to break. This guy, Salar, out of nowhere, turns up at her university, knows about her engagement, jumps into her family's affairs and arrogantly demands that she breaks it off with Salman. He then keeps calling her obsessively and sends her semi-threatening messages. Following day, he turns up at her home, aggressively talks to her beloved (although currently justifiably angry) uncle and makes a whole show about "haath pakadna" in front of them. This is followed by him turning up at her shopping, speaking to her softly, claiming that he genuinely cares about her.
I dunno about others, but I can definitely understand a lot of Sitara's POV if you watch her family scenes. She was trying to fight, but was betrayed by her own brother. Still she tried to push Salman into breaking it even though she does not trust any one anymore. Salar is just a randomly arrived and came out of nowhere humongous added headache in her life right now. Yes, she might have a soft corner for him or subconsciously trust him. But right now, she is broken and she has absolutely no reason to believe that he might not abandon her midway through. At least, within her family, she might get occasional momentary respites. But with Salar, she does not know. He is too aggressive, too arrogant, too brash, too privileged and unfortunately right now, too stalkerish for her to accept him or trust him to be her lifeline. Yes, she thinks about him. Her heart wants to trust him. Her brain is subconsciously telling her to take refuge with him. But she is burnt and broken by own beloved family, people whom she trusted repeatedly with her life. Salar's aggression is only unsettling her further and in her pain and panic, she is unfortunately taking refuge in what Junaid described as the quicksand of comfort zone.
Although it breaks my heart I had to agree, and understand Sitara's pov. You described it really well.
This show's name was Faraar (Escape) which matches Salar's character and actions. Even in their interview Ali and Laiba agreed that it is Salar who is Faraar. But they didn't reveal who will pay Kaffara. They mentioned every character's name jokingly.
Sitara thinks that Salar is just a rich boy who used to get all what he want. That Salar has sympathy on her. And can't fall in love with her. He is just fooling her like he did before.

Salar can give Salman a high pay job n he will vanish right or does he want to massage his ego over Salman badtameezi so bad
I agree Salar and mom's scene was the best. I had tears in my eyes watching him venting to his mom . Salute to Ali Ansari for the incredible expressions.
We saw how restless he was since he landed in Canada. But they way he described those feelings was very touching.
Sitara holding salmans hand was wierd ...what was she thinking...??? I get it ... It was needed to make salar realize extent of his feelings but Sitara being that Frank is she planning something??? Maybe she is instigating salar to make Salman run away like qasim
Sitara also was embarassed when salar mentioned haath pakadna to Taya .... But damn u salar can u for once think about the girls honour why keep defaming her

I think Sitara holded Salman's hand because Salar offered her his hand. So the idea came from Salar himself. At that moment she just wanted to oppose him. I don't think she knows those games, or that she was sure that Salar will be instigated or may go that far for her. Coz she sees him as a faraar who may escape at any moment. She thought he wasn't serious.. and can't keep his word and promise.
Of course she felt ashamed coz it wasn't her habit to hold any guy's hand. She is innocent and pure. But everyone keep defaming her .

@ I have not watched the episode yet. But Salar as a character is like that. He is not empathetic and doesn't think about the consequences others face because of his actions. May be there will be character development for him in the upcoming episodes.

Another banger promo. I want to know what Sitara was reading on her phone though. I genuinely hate the YouTube suggestions on video. I know they are added by the channel themselves but at least add them after the point where promo ends.
Exactly. The actual twist comes at the last part and the small boxes appear covering the screen and I try to see what is there from the small box that appears on the moving line.
No, reinstating her honor. As Sitara said 'agar mere liye kuch kar sakte ho to meri izzat mere ghar walo(taya aur bhai) ke saamne wapis dila do'
