Abhimaan feel that Kaveri was only pissed and said cruel things because she is angry personality , is conservative and didnt approve of Abhira and not because she is "evil" so thats the issue

its not "blind" perse. its just that they dont see her as evil the way we do as audience. Abhira is calling out and refusing what she cant accept and so is Armaan. Abhira refused to apologize to Ruhi and is gonna refuse to sign papers. Armaan refused to comply with Kaveris zidd and threatened to leave home with Abhira and marry her in shaadi if Kaveri was gonna just keep saying no. but they dont see any reason why she would fake shaadi approval and acceptance. so thats why they are trusting her.
