I know it’s impossible in ITv to show that a couple doesn’t want a child at all mentality like we have in west. But imagine if Ab told dadisa she doesn’t want a child and instead wants to be dog/cat mom😂 good enough to sent dadisa to hell?

What on earth is happening in this wedding? Changing name to change personality, cornering a young girl into giving up her career and ambition for a baby, getting a prenup drawn with clauses about being an 'achchi' bahu and giving the husband a child within a year or separating, like what the actual f? No wonder Abhira is feeling so overwhelmed about being a good DIL, she is being made to feel like who she is, is not enough. This is not just regressive but highkey archaic. The characters of this show from 15 years ago were more progressive than so called aaj ki Ruhi and Kaveri.

I agree, the narrative of Abhira seeking Dadi's validation is going overboard especially when she has neither realised nor apologized for all the cruelty she dished out at Abhira since the start.

Exactly you can see she's not comfortable or mentally ready to be a mother, they've just stuck with that narrative. I think Ab got nervous when he didn't respond about the 2 years wait before baby. Then she started listing things they should overcome in their married life first and baby will complicate then Ar started with join family. Ab wants to make Ar her first priority after marriage but I'm just glad they're having the discussion and they'll revisit it again. It's refreshing to see these discussion being had with a couple. This also match with Abhira dream sequence how they'll married, be two successful lawyers and then baby.

Is is just me or does anyone else notice how the minute Ruhi gets cornered or outwitted in any confrontation, she starts tagging the other person immature and not worthy of having a mature conversation. Like that is the ONLY comeback she always has, whether it was with Rohit earlier or Abhira.
